Everyone loves a road trip and in first place is a road trip to attend a meeting with other quilters. Last Saturday we loaded up the car and went to Nashville. We visited the Music City Modern Quilts Guild. The guild is about eight years old and has a membership that loves to quilt. They meet once a month on a Saturday and have a short meeting and then a sew day.
They welcomed us with open arms and shared the information about their guild. The members cover a large range of ages. We enjoyed their program on how to make bags. Of course, just like all guilds they had "show & tell." I have posted several of their quilts. I would encourage you to plan a road trip to visit a guild. I have found quilters are a friend group and love to share. Visit their website: musiccitymodernquilters.blogspot.com
